Ground Source Heat Pumps
Lowest cost of heating
By investing in a ground source heat pump you will benefit from the lowest cost of heating available as well as qualifying for the highest renewable heat incentive tariff available. Car park installations available using boreholes, lots of land is not required.
Fit & Forget
One of the quietest, reliable and unobtrusive heating systems available. Once installed a ground heat pump installation will quietly keep running away for years to come without the need for costly regular servicing, maintenance or inspections.
Ground source heat pumps are becoming the standard source of heating for any heat requirements under 500kW. OMNI Heat & Power have installed over 100 ground source heat pumps since 2015. With the option of horizontal loops or bore holes, space is not an issue.
About Ground Source Heat Pumps
Ground source heat pumps are a clean and renewable source of heating.
With the option of horizontal ground collectors or boreholes, a ground source heat pump can provide heat to almost any building regardless of location.
By understanding the technology, design process and only working with the highest quality manufactures. OMNI Heat & Power provide solutions that are both economical and efficient.
With no requirement for bulk deliveries like oil, LPG or biomass boiler this allows a ground source heat pump in a much wider range of locations. A ground source heat pump will also remove any disruption caused during bulk fuel deliveries, as there are no longer required.
Qualifying for Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) payments over 20 years a ground source heat pump installation not only provides instant fuel savings on heating costs but can also provide additional income to the business.
|kWh requirement comparison :||300,000||600,000|
|Heating Saving vs. Oil (4p/kWh) :||£4,000||£8,000|
|Heating Saving vs. Gas (3p/kWh) :||£1,000||£2,000|
|Heating Saving vs. Biomass (3.5p/kWh) :||£2,500||£5,000|
|Heating Saving vs. Electricity (12p/kWh) :||£28,000||£56,000|
|Renewable Heat Incentive (9.09p/kWh) :||£21,000||£42,000|
|Total Benefit :||£22,000 - £49,000||£44,000 - £98,000|

This examples above show how a business can benefit financially by upgrading from a conventional heatting system to a modern and reliable ground source heat pump instalation.
30 room country house and hotel, built in the 16th century with a total floor space of 650m2
Two STIEBEL-ELTRON ground source heat pumps with 4,000m of horizontal ground loop, providing all of the space heating and hot water requirements.
For hotels heating and hot water is a big concern, investing in a ground source heat pump provides peace of mind knowing that there is a reliable and low maintenance source of heating and hot water, in addition to the financial benefits of significant cost savings vs traditional fossil fuel systems and the governments Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme.
The renewable heat incentive pays a tariff for every kWh of renewable heat produced, as shown in the cashflow examples above. This incentive can provide a significant additional income to a business, as well as being used to pay any finance required for the initial capital expenditure.
